Hello Legacy Parents – It’s hard to believe we’re just two weeks until the end of this school year! Again, we want to thank you for all the ways in which you’ve ensured your students and their teachers have remained connected and engaged these past couple months. This time has certainly set a new standard for the teacher-parent partnership!
As we get ready for the final week of school (June 8-12) and beyond, we want you to be aware of the following items:
Monday, June 8: Last Monday packet pick-up day. This will be the last Monday packet pick-up day. Students will need to return their completed packets on Thursday, June 11.
Thursday, June 11: Last meal pick-up day, Monday packet return, returning of books. This will be our last meal pick-up day, and you’ll want to be sure to come by with your students because not only will the meals be awesome, but all of our teachers will be greeting students while dancing to Mr. Stallcop’s favorite playlist -- our COVID-19 version of the annual, last-day-of-school teacher talent show!
Completed Monday packets are returned this day.
Also, on June 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., parents and students can start dropping off library books, grade-level books, and other grade-level materials if they need to be returned. Grade-level boxes will be outside in front of the school in which to put books and materials. An EA will be there to assist.
Friday, June 12: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! -- and last day for returning library books and grade-level books/materials. Again, grade-level boxes will be outside in front of the school in which to put books and materials. An EA will be there to assist.
June 15 & 16: Computer device return. From 9 am-3 pm, those students with checked-out devices from the school that they’ve been using for remote learning will need to return them along with their completed paperwork.
Monday, August 10: First day of the 2020-2021 school year! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back at school! Until then, we will keep you aware of any updates or modifications to help us all prepare for our return.
Have a great summer!
