Dear Parents –
Like you, we were hopeful at some point this spring we would be back in our classrooms with your students finishing what has been a remarkable year. Unfortunately, that will not be the case.
In order to stay in step with the State’s Stay Healthy Order, we will continue remote learning through the end of the 2019-2020 schoolyear. The following information and dates will be helpful as we finish up:
- Teachers will continue to provide Monday take-home packets. Since Monday, May 25, is Memorial Day, take-home packets that week will be distributed on Tuesday, May 26.
- June 8 is the last day take-home packets will be distributed.
- Teachers will continue to produce weekly videos for at-home learning until June 11.
- The last day of school is June 12.
- The last day for school breakfast and lunch pick-up is Thursday, June 11. It continues to make our day when we see your students at this time, so please keep coming!
Thank you for all you’re doing to keep your children’s learning intact. We understand how difficult this has been for you at times, but we’ve also seen and heard about the remarkable efforts and commitment you’ve made to your children and their continued academic success. Partnering with you in this manner at this unbelievable time has been an honor. We will continue to do all we can to make the next few weeks manageable and worthwhile so that your students come back in August without missing a beat in their education.
